Vortex ECU for the Husqvarna FS450 and KTM SMR 450 supermoto race bikes with custom made fuel and ignition maps to suit your own requirements.
The Vortex ECU has an X10 dial that can select up to 10 maps to choose from, to suit your engine specification and personnel requirements.
Supermotoland will use a combination of its own fuel and ignition maps (tested on the supermotoland dyno and private training track) plus the range of Vortex maps, to make a combination of maps to give you great engine performance wherever you ride. Whilst most ECU’s self adjust to atmospheric conditions through their range of sensors we have found that you still need to make adjustments when dealing with high or low humidity levels and some extreme riding conditions. Supermotoland will develop and install maps to cover these conditions for you.
The Vortex ECU also has 3 dials to adjust fueling in the low, mid and high throttle positions, so you have another trackside option to adjust and improve your bikes performance.
Supermotoland also install different specifications into the Vortex ECU to improve the quick shifter on the 2023 to 2025 FS450 and SMR450. The bike will now have the quick shifter operational in all gears, 1st to 5th and will be easier to upshift.
The Supermotoland maps will also improve starts and help pass the noise tests.
When you purchase a Vortex ECU from Supermotoland you will also have 12 months technical support to assist with fine tuning and any upgrades that become available.
Please note that the greatest power gain usually comes from a good aftermarket pipe like the DVR stereo system. The Vortex ECU makes further smaller power gains and better throttle response etc.
