The SpiceSolutions.pl Supermotoland Race team had a great race weekend at Round four of the Polish Supermoto championship.
Loris Ford-Dunn showed his speed by topping FP1 and then setting pole position inĀ S1 Qualifying. But it all could have gone badly wrong in race one with a slow rear puncture picked up on the warm up lap. Knowing his tyre was deflating he rode an amazing race and held the lead until the last two laps, when the rear tyre pressure had dropped to 0.6 bar and he had to give up the lead, but still managed to finish second.
With a new rear tyre fitted for race two he had an epic battle with the 2nd place rider hounding him for the entire race. But he held strong and bought home the race win, giving him the overall victory and his first race win in the Polish championship.
Team mate Arek Szwak was racing in the Sm Amateur class and was fighting to maintain his second position in the championship standings. He managed two impressive races, coming home in P4 and only just missing out on a podium position. He has slipped to 3rd in the championship standings but was still content with his constant improvement in a sport that is relatively new to him.
Now the baton is passed to the Supermotoland Spice Solutions Spanish team who are preparing for the final round of the Spanish championship at the Gass74 circuit in Alicante region on the 7th September.
Many thanks to the team sponsors and personnel that make our racing activities possible, especially our main sponsors, SpiceSolutions.pl , Advance Moves international Removals, Putoline Motorcycle oils and Hel Performance.
